In this Brian Kershisnik image he may be depicting those that have lost hope, or maybe someone who has lost faith, but it does seem to be something very important that has impacted her happiness. The beauty is not that she has lost something, but that she will find what is lost.

Does she see or feel those that are trying to encourage, to inspire, to lift her up? Sometimes it's nice knowing there others are out there that care about us and will help us to find ourselves.

When I saw this print, my heart leaped.  If ever there was a pictorial description of how I feel when I do family history work, this is it.
